[ssba]

In April 2014 Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told Israeli opposition members of the Knesset that if peace talks were to be extended beyond their current deadline at the end of April, he wanted to focus on determining the issue of borders within three months. BICOM re-issued this ‘Expert View’ on 22 April 2014.

In this BICOM Expert View paper, BICOM Senior Research Associate Shany Mor examines the attractions of a ‘Borders First’ approach, whilst exploring why both parties have their reasons to be resistant to it.  Download the paper here.
