Single boat expected to reach Gaza today

In the UK and international news today, several papers report on the mixed rumours surrounding the health of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Several sources say that Mubarak suffered a stroke and is in a coma at a hospital in the Red Sea resort town of Sharm el Sheikh. The Scotsman notes that a boat of pro-Palestinian protesters that set sail from Greece is expected to attempt to reach Gaza’s shores today. The Independent reports that IDF Maj.-Gen. Avi Mizrahi said that unchecked Jewish terrorism against Palestinians in the West Bank threatened to cause more conflict in the area. The papers also note that a lawyer to Hosni Mubarak said that the former Egyptian president suffered a stroke and is in a coma. The Hospital’s director denies this report. In local Israeli news, the papers report on tent protests taking place in Tel Aviv, demonstrating against high house prices in the city.
