The Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre has appointed James Sorene as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The BICOM Board is delighted to announce the appointment of BICOM’s new CEO, James Sorene.  James joins BICOM with more than 15 years’ experience of working in communications. His most recent role was as Deputy Director of Government Communications in Number 10 and the Cabinet Office, and was previously Head of Communications for the Deputy Prime Minister. Prior to that, he has held various senior positions at the Home Office and Department of Health. Before entering Government, he was Head of Public Affairs at the Israeli Embassy in London.

James is a communications specialist with a unique understanding of Israel and the Middle East having worked for both the British and Israeli governments and is well versed in dealing with high profile and complex issues.  BICOM remains committed to providing a platform where there is a more complete understanding of Israel and its situation and under the new leadership of James, rising to the challenges that lie ahead.
