On Thursday 26 February, author and journalist Ari Shavit, addressed a BICOM breakfast briefing where he discussed the “human phenomenon” that is Israel, as described in his new book, “My Promised Land”. He went on to discuss the challenges facing Israel and the Jewish people in the world today. “My Promised Land” has been named one of the best books of the year by the New York Times book review and the Economist.
