White House Press Secretary Jay Carney: “And our bottom line, our position is that Iran must live up to its international obligations including the full suspension of uranium enrichment, as required by multiple U.N. Security Council resolutions. So we’re not setting in advance of this meeting any condition except for what our bottom line is, and that’s a bottom line shared internationally and it is also — as the President made clear when Prime Minister Cameron was here, I believe — that the window is closing here. The Iranians need to demonstrate that they are serious, that they will engage in these talks seriously and focus on the issues that need to be resolved. Beyond that, we’ll have to see how they go.”
