Peace and Coexistence programme
BICOM is committed to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, achieved through a negotiated agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. But all the previous attempts to reach a comprehensive agreement have failed despite clear progress in discussions about the most difficult issues – territory, settlements, security, refugees, borders and Jerusalem. This programme will explore the latest thinking on how to restart negotiations and how to solve the most complex problems. It will also examine the people-to-people element and assess work underway to boost cooperation and coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians.
