What does RSS mean? Although there are different opinions on what RSS really stands for, the most common interpretation is "Really Simple Syndication". RSS feeds are webpages that are meant to be machine/computer readable rather than human readable. The first thing you'd need is a RSS Reader application. This can be a software you download or a website you visit. Usually those sites require registration but give you the opportunity to personalize your page and save all your selections of RSS Feeds in addition to allow you to access your Feeds from any computer with an internet connection.

The RSS Reader application lets you add (subscribe) to RSS Feeds, eg. blogs, news websites, latest BICOM publications, ... and interpretes the RSS Feed it gets from the respective website to change it into a human readable format.
