On 8 May US President Donald Trump will decide whether or not to waive US sanctions against Iran as required under the Iran nuclear agreement (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – JCPOA). If Trump decides not to waive the sanctions, he will be in violation of the agreement and risk its collapse.
