The UK and international media today broadly covers the mass demonstrations in Egypt and analyses the possible impact of unrest in the country.  All papers and news outlets have articles on this latest series of developments. In other items, the Guardian notes a statement by Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister, Moshe Ya’alon saying that Palestinian refusal to recognise Israel as “the nation state of the Jewish people” was preventing a peace deal.
