Violence broke out in Lebanon last week following the assassination of  a senior anti-Syrian intelligence officer, Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan. The internal conflict in Syria is having an increasing impact on Syria’s neighbours, including Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon. In this interview, BICOM’s Senior Visiting Fellow, Brig. Gen. (Ret.)
