The Times, Guardian, Telegraph, Independent, Independent i and Metro all report on an Israeli undercover raid to arrest a suspected terrorist in a hospital in Hebron. The suspect was believed to have stabbed an Israeli in late October. The Times reports that the soldiers were disguised and quotes Israeli reports that the arrested man was a member of Hamas. The Guardian leads with the story on the death of a relative of the suspect who was killed in the raid after reportedly attacking the soldiers.

The Times, Guardian and Independent all report on double suicide-bombings in a Hezbollah controlled suburb of Beirut, killing 43 people at time of press. The bombs in the Burj al-Barajneh neighbourhood were claimed by ISIS, which is fighting Hezbollah in Syria. The Times cites local reports that a third planned bomber was killed in the blasts of one of the others’ bombs. The Independent notes that Hezbollah did not allow the media near the scenes of the attacks.

The Times and the Guardian reveal that the UK’s last potash mine, in Boulby, Redcar and Cleveland, will close after Israel Chemicals, its current owner, plans to start mining more environmentally-friendly fertilisers.

The Independent quotes Iranian President Hasan Rouhani, who reportedly told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera that the USA should apologise to Iran for its past behaviour.

Israeli papers including Yediot Ahronot, Maariv, Haaretz and Israel Hayom also cover the undercover raid.

Haaretz reports that the IDF is preparing for a broad deployment of as many as 70 reserve battalions in case of deterioration in the security situation in the West Bank.

A story in Israel Hayom notes that the investigation into the attack on an Eritrean man mistaken for a terror attacker in Beershava continues, with five suspects summoned for police interview.

Several papers including Israel Hayom and Yediot Ahronot note that the Supreme Court has now authorised the demolition of the houses of the killers of the Henkins. Haaretz reports that the court denied a petition to demolish an additional house.

The Jerusalem Post and Israel Hayom report that the International Criminal Court has released its annual report including a preliminary report on Israel and Palestine. The report states that Israel is formally cooperating with the ICC.
