Yediot Ahronot and Maariv cover an argument between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Education Minister Naftali Bennett at the Security Cabinet meeting yesterday. According to reports, Netanyahu threatened to fire Bennett after Bennet demanded a Cabinet discussion on a reported plan to limit IDF activity in Palestinian towns in Area A. An analysis piece in Yediot Ahronot claims that Netanyahu’s threat was not serious, as it would almost certainly lead to the fall of the Government and a general election.

All Israeli papers report that Hamas claimed responsibility for Monday’s Jerusalem bus bombing, following the death of the suspected bomber. The investigation into the bombing is under reporting restrictions.

Yediot Ahronot, Haaretz and Walla report that seven suspects were arrested – six civilians who live in West Bank settlements and one IDF soldier – on suspicion of being members of a Jewish terror cell. An analysis piece in Haaretz says that the Shin Bet security service now believes it has rounded up all the main players behind organised anti-Palestinian attacks.

Haaretz reports that Joint List MK Haneen Zoabi rejected an invitation to participate in a Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony, instead claiming that Israel is like 1930s Germany.
